Where to stay in Malaga

For a chance to experience the heart of the city center, you will want to stay in the area surrounding Calle Larios and Alameda Principal. This constitutes the commercial shopping district of the city and is a convenient walk to the city's main attractions and beaches. Another option is the historical city center, where an array of lively tapas bars and shops intermix with the dramatic Gothic architecture. For a true beach vacation, choose to stay in one of the hotels lining the city beach where you can soak up views of the beautiful Costa Dorada away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

  • The Vialia Centro Comercial is a good mall and has a wide variety of shops. What is good about the mall is that there are many restaurants and cafeterias where one can have some refreshment.  more »

  • Large shopping center close to the bus and rail network. Lots of restaurants and coffee shops to chose from. When I was there they had a flamenco display on. A great idea that I would like to see more often.
  • You can't find pretty much anything. There's also a big supermarket and there's airco inside
  • A great urban shopping center housed within the long distance train / local trains station. 5 minutes walk and you are at the main bus station. On the second floor you have lots of places to eat. And a large supermarket
  • great place to shop , have breakfast, and wsit for your train or bus.
  • Small number of shops, but there are places to eat and it's easy to access (it's combined with a train station, next to it is a metro station and bus stops all around). Also, few steps away there is Larios Mall and el Corte Ingles.
