  • The monument itself is not particularly worth seeing, but it is a beautiful square with nice restaurants around the square. There are often various events in the square, especially at Christmas time. 
  • There's a popular myth that says where the land on which the facade Obelisk was built belongs to French territory! was given to the King of France as a Trojan horse ... as if to be invaded, the French Malaga would have to help in the war, because there was a piece of its territory! but legends aside, this Obelisk is a monument to the men who died in the war

  • This Obelisk is the invisible friend of the majority of young people who do bottle or gather at his feet. The vast majority never looks to the sky to see its peak, and even those that do ignore its meaning. However, I recommend a visit for being located in the Centre, within walking distance of the Roman Theatre.
