  • Located in the historic centre of the city, two minutes from the newly opened Museum of Malaga, alcazaba and the Cathedral, it is housed in what was the House and workshop of Pedro de Mena, fully restored and converted into an ideal space for the work of the author. Its interior houses more than one hundred works between oils, pencil drawings, sketches, and even waxes. As not, the main protagonist of the exhibition is the portrait, of which find a wide sample. To finish, a temporary exhibition entitled "ladies. Female portraits", which from January 13 to April 2, 2017 presents nine superb works of the artist. The entrance fee is very reasonable €2.50, and includes audio tour. Us is, likewise, a 10 minute documentary on the life and work of Pedro de Mena. The Museum is not very large; with one hour we must have time to enjoy it without strain. The opening hours are Tuesday to Saturday from 10.00-20.00; Sundays and public holidays from 10.00 to 14.00 hours. Closes on Mondays.

  • It came after the Picasso Museum. Portraits of women in primary, while painting a very feminine woman are adorable. When I went at 6:00 in the past people besides me only one person wasn't. It is a happy place quietly immersed in art. Opening a restaurant is open until 7 a.m., so wait until just may be right.
