Puerto de Málaga, Malaga

4.5
Puerto de Málaga is the oldest continuously operated seaport in Spain. Nestled on the Costa del Sol, it serves as a port of call for many cruises. The port’s history stretches back to the Phoenicians and Carthaginians. If you’re up for a walk, head all the way out to the lighthouse and the sandy beach. Or, avoid the summer heat beneath the misters while strolling around this charming seaport, then grab a bite to eat in one of the many fine restaurants. • Very nice. The port offers several ferries to make visits to different places. You will find the modern arts Museum next door.

  • Spent Sunday afternoon at the pier What a relaxing time. Lovely stalls selling clothes, trinkets etc etc Play areas for kids, which we didn’t use but seemed very busy. Loads of places to eat and drink...  more »
  • Full of shops and restaurants, Malaga dock is a place to walk, relax and have a good time watching the sea and the yachts that are there.

  • Visited Malaga today to see the Symphony of the Seas, the largest cruise ship in the world and she is beautiful, I couldn’t get right up close but the visit was worth it. Had some lunch and enjoyed sitting in the cafes on the port and in the City Centre. Malaga is a special vibrant city and well worth visiting there is always something to do and see. The shopping in the Port is also very good.
  • Oceana docked in Malaga on Saturday 17 March 20118. The "free wi-fi " offered in the port is slow, slow, slow and very intermittent. It does not do this lovely port with lovely shops and lovely shop-assistants justice. The free shuttle service to town was first class, buses immaculate and very comfortable, the staff utterly delightful, friendly. If the internet service had been better five stars would not have been enough, but, alas, 3 is all the port deserves until it improves the wi-fi system. The internet in this day and age is simply a MUST.
  • Convenient for shopping and easy access to center ood town.
  • Nice port, good beach in short walking distance (10mins) with a bar/restaurant. Lots more shops, restaurants.. Etc if you keep walking another 5-10mins
  • Always clean and well looked after
