During the feria becomes not easily accessible, because there are tents arranged making music and offer food and drinks for the whole week. However it is pretty.

The most beautiful Avenue in Malaga. In theory, is located between the bustling streets, while the alley is so wide, that does not feel. A lot of green, full of parrots flying after jakarandzie (the tree with purple flowers). The perfect place to take a stroll on a hot day and enjoy the greenery in the center of the city.

If the center of a city defines the character of it, East of Malaga represents the of Malaga: an open, looking at the sea and cozy place. Ideal for walking or have a snack or coffee at one of the terraces. I prefer the light that it fills everything. Beautiful.

  • Beautiful place to experience Malaga and enjoy the scenery! We go there each time we visit Spain since I was a little girl in the early 1960's. It has grown into such a wonderful spot for tourist to enjoy. I have wonderful memories there and grateful to have spent so many years here.
  • Malaga is a seriously underrated city, this is part of the beauty that visitors will enjoy. The architecture around this area is impressive, the location being near to the port and the major attractions of the city and handy access to the local transport systems.
  • Regular events with noisy music. A good girls football event when I was there. Nice to see. A lively civic space.
  • Nice Square. Beautiful view. Sometimes happens interesting events. The most interesting for me is that a lot of subcultures are meeting here and spend time with their groups. It's looks very nice.
  • Very beautiful large square with a wonderful fountain in the center. Below is a garage to park your car with direct access to the square, very taught full. You have a tourist info office available with a small tourist shop. Next to the square you can ride horse carriages to see the hot points of Malaga very good to do at the beginning of your journey.

Where to stay in Malaga

For a chance to experience the heart of the city center, you will want to stay in the area surrounding Calle Larios and Alameda Principal. This constitutes the commercial shopping district of the city and is a convenient walk to the city's main attractions and beaches. Another option is the historical city center, where an array of lively tapas bars and shops intermix with the dramatic Gothic architecture. For a true beach vacation, choose to stay in one of the hotels lining the city beach where you can soak up views of the beautiful Costa Dorada away from the hustle and bustle of the city center.
