  • Arriving from the airport to the city (the last stop of line A), is as many references, which may lose the Museum. Turns out, that the visit there is nice and comfortable (leaving extra-bolsas at the box office), with small but subtle exhibitions, enough for a novice in Malaga for introduction to its history and traditions. 15 minutes was sufficient, and free admission. It has a lift. Worth a visit if you are in the area. strolling.

  • The exhibition showed how men and women dressed in Malaga in the 19th century. One can see the clothes that were popular at that time. This is a very interesting exhibition and is quite enjoyable.  more »
  • This city museum is rather tucked out of the way, and you might not realize it’s even there unless you read about it, or happen to walk right past the front door. It’s a shame it doesn't attract more ...  more »

  • The historical and artistic heritage of the municipality of Málaga is shown here, in a museum dedicated to a journey through the history of the city. Throughout three rooms you can enjoy paintings and sculptures mainly, ranging from classical antiquity, with the Roman times, until the latest creations of Malaga (or related with the city) artists of the 20th and 21st century.

  • The exhibition of Francisco González Romero is spectacular. Malaqa exposure has some errors in chronologies and techniques in some ceramics.

  • By the history that can be seen of painters and other characters mostly from the 18th century to the 20th... Pictures traditionalists as the cenachero and Reding, large marine supply and other historical paintings of time. The 20th century, is also represented, by Picasso, and other important painters of Malaga. Chronologically, the city is represented since the time of Phoenician, Roman and Arabic, with pieces found in excavations. Large cartouches explanatory report all these times and its history. Represented also as models, made buildings Cathedral, and places public. Where can children interactivar to see the history they represent. Very important also the traveling rooms for temporary exhibitions. In weekend municipal museum showing the heritage of the city, with about 4,500 pieces. Representative from the 15th to the 21st centuries. . .... Teaching room. The most important of all is that this Museum, as well as others and monuments of the city are free to all who visit them. A good way to invest taxes from the citizens of Malaga, as it reverses in learn the history, art and culture of the city not only in Malaga, if not to all the people who visit the city. Manuel.
