  • This Basilica for me was the absolute surprise at my visit to Malaga. We came there rather coincidentally, but this point of interest is of rare beauty. On the advice of a guidebook about Malaga we visited the crypt. An enthusiastic guide took care of a passionate tour. Both crypt as Chapel and Basilica are worth a visit. This should not pass up if you are in Malaga. An absolute must!!!

  • I had seen curious things about this site on the internet, as that is built on the site where the own Catholic monarchs established their camp, when the stormreaver Crusades were being of the Andalusian in time of the Inquisition. On the outside is modest, the Church itself is very cool. But the jewel takes him its crypt dedicated to death and its altar with the image of Santa María de la Victoria. A high decoration magnificent, also has a small museum which has relics like the first memory of the Catholic Kings mantle, or San Antonio de Paula cane.

  • Worth a stroll through the neighborhood of la Victoria to the sanctuary, a jewel of Baroque and one of the most beautiful churches I have ever seen

  • It is not a church, it is a "Real Sanctuary Parish and Basilica of Santa Maria de la Victoria". Place with great history and is also the great unknown jewel Malaga. Few people know that it houses one of the most horrific Crypts of the world and also the dressing room (say the experts in art and history) more impressive and beautiful there. But people never imagine such wonders inside because leave themselves carried away by the austere external appearance. Never judge a place by its outward appearance and in this case with more reason. Visits to the crypt and the dressing room be available from Tuesday to Friday from 10:00 to 12:30. It is great visit to Malaga together with the Cathedral and the great Arab fortress.

  • Magnificent grounds to pray and connect with the Godhead surrounded by images of great beauty. The masses are of great content to reflect. Place of great historic significance.

  • Recently invited me to visit a surprising place, told me, the Real shrine, parish and Basilica Nuestra Señora Virgen de la Victoria. Amazing? No magic, Telurico, darker, mystery, light, faith... Many words will come to mind to express what there witnessed. I say that it is not surprising because the word is short. Poverty outside of the temple which is probably the cause of that few people visit it will counter your inner magnificence which highlights its wonderful altarpiece. But if anyone wants to check the reality of my impressions you should visit his crypt. A crypt that probably and as I discussed much-traveled friends, will not find anywhere else in the world. Continuing the visit it is the shrine of the patron saint of Malaga "La Virgen de la Victoria" and it is here where are partially open their eyes already surprised by the crypt and that they can not assimilate so much beauty. Without doubt one of the most beautiful dressing rooms in the world. I can assure you that it is a highly recommended visit which unfortunately has very low hours from Tuesday to Friday from 10.00 to 12.30 in the morning. If you are Malaga don't miss it would be lost one of its greatest jewels.

  • It's beautiful, I got married there in October and was beautiful, also is not the typical Church, its history is curious bastantae from the monk minimum

  • Splendid and majestic, and with plenty of space to sit and relax. Its interior houses a Nuestra Señora de la Merced
