  • The current collapse of the island is the result of the tourist monoculture which is applied in the archipelago balear for decades. This area of the island is distinguished by its particular orography karstika, wild and beautiful. Obviously forget the area of coast of Andratx (icon of the over-exploitation coastal) and go towards the North, continue the chain mountain. An area that allows you to view the island a more contemplative perspective.

  • The Northwest Coast is steep and here and there one can at sea: sant Elm, Cala de Deia, Puerto de Soller, Sa Calobra and Cala San Vincente. The other parts are from the boat trips to view good and there are beautiful and sometimes very steep hikes. I found the coast easily reached by bus from Palma bus station Plza de Espanya

  • I went to a rental car with family and one a few times on this side of the island, the roads are sophisticated enough to require concentration, especially considering that the locals drive much faster and should in time yield to them, otherwise "hang" from behind and pressed on the nervous system. But the surrounding mountain scenery and views from viewing platforms, which are very much on the way they justify these costs.
