Sa Calobra, Majorca

(4.1/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
For a picture-perfect beach setting, check out Sa Calobra. You’ll find two beaches here. Both are small but boast clear, turquoise water and stunning surroundings. This little piece of heaven is in a remote area and requires a drive on winding roads. The destination is worth it, however, even for just one photo. The sand can be a little rough, with some small stones. Take a picnic and bring water, as there aren’t any services offered here. • Sa Calobra is without doubt worth a drive! You drive on a very narrow (and long) street to the bottom of the mountain. Here you can go for a nice walk. Drive carefully....  more »
  • SA Calobra is a natural beauty, but stay away from June to september, because then it is unenjoyable f by the crowds. Rent a small car because the road go there (laid out by an Italian for that matter) pays more than the trouble: downright beautiful! Save on the go even finish to Cala Tuent for a quiet swim in a beautiful-beautiful Bay, or to grab a bite to eat in the only, very nice restaurant there.

  • We were told about the beach and the travel from a couple at the hotel and they recommended it strongly. Hence, off we went and afterwards we felt a bit disappointed with Sa Calobra. However, the trip...  more »

  • Nice small collage. The tunnel to The other beach is definitely a must-See!!! Like stepping into another world.
  • The shore isn't something special. But the way is impressive. Worth going further to look around and reach the beach.
  • Do yourself a favour and do not go there in summer. Literally thousands of tourists crawling over the place, the street towards it might get closed due to no parking space left ( happened to us) and this probably tranquil place is then just a tourist trap. We finally got there at 6 p.m. and the bay water was drowning in plastic and other remnants of human race. What a pity for this beautiful spot.
  • Really suggestive place...needs to seen if you are going to visit Maiorca...
  • Magnificent!
