Sa Calobra, Majorca

(4.1/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
For a picture-perfect beach setting, check out Sa Calobra. You’ll find two beaches here. Both are small but boast clear, turquoise water and stunning surroundings. This little piece of heaven is in a remote area and requires a drive on winding roads. The destination is worth it, however, even for just one photo. The sand can be a little rough, with some small stones. Take a picnic and bring water, as there aren’t any services offered here. • If you are coming not just from an Alpine country, should one be afraid of heights and curves like :) this street has it all. left, right, left once complete in the district... Great building and at the end you will be rewarded with a great Bay. Best you go up in the morning to go down to lunch again, so going to the mass tourism which goes from 10:00. Then the chance is that you a parking gets quite low.

  • Beautiful cala... Although there are more beautiful places on the island to visit... Problem to be able to swim... many stones that damaged toes

  • If you are a cyclist, and only do one climb on Mallorca this is it. Alpine hairpins, sea views and a challenging 8% gradient. Only 10 km but well worth the effort.

  • Nice small collage. The tunnel to The other beach is definitely a must-See!!! Like stepping into another world.
  • The shore isn't something special. But the way is impressive. Worth going further to look around and reach the beach.
  • Do yourself a favour and do not go there in summer. Literally thousands of tourists crawling over the place, the street towards it might get closed due to no parking space left ( happened to us) and this probably tranquil place is then just a tourist trap. We finally got there at 6 p.m. and the bay water was drowning in plastic and other remnants of human race. What a pity for this beautiful spot.
  • Really suggestive place...needs to seen if you are going to visit Maiorca...
  • Magnificent!
