Sa Calobra, Majorca
(4.1/5 based on 800+ reviews on the web)
For a picture-perfect beach setting, check out Sa Calobra. You’ll find two beaches here. Both are small but boast clear, turquoise water and stunning surroundings. This little piece of heaven is in a remote area and requires a drive on winding roads. The destination is worth it, however, even for just one photo. The sand can be a little rough, with some small stones. Take a picnic and bring water, as there aren’t any services offered here. • SA Calobra is a Bay with a loop road with great views on the way down. Once there, place of a large car park and a number of cafes/restaurants of the ordinary tourist.

  • After the somewhat exciting ride over the so called Snake road (name cope) with our car, this Bay is a Sehenswürdigkeit.Leider is the offer not the greatest, just self service.

  • SA Calobra is definitely one of the most beautiful places of the island. If you want to go and visit this wonder, however, armed with a little adventurous spirit and bring your camera! Climb the Sierra de Tramontana, immersed in the natural park, until a good share of height, before descending through a road that define breathtaking is an understatement, as far as the sea of Sa Calobra. A small beach between two rocky walls cropped forming a canyon, with clear water ideal for snorkeling. Better if you get there by scooter, since the car is quite far from the beach and are absolutely necessary of "ballet slippers rocks". The place is well worth a visit, is a different experience than the rest of the places on the island. Being a very difficult place to get to, is quite remote and you don't expect to find plenty of choice with regard to catering or shops; I recommend you rather bring food and drinks in advance.

  • Nice small collage. The tunnel to The other beach is definitely a must-See!!! Like stepping into another world.
  • The shore isn't something special. But the way is impressive. Worth going further to look around and reach the beach.
  • Do yourself a favour and do not go there in summer. Literally thousands of tourists crawling over the place, the street towards it might get closed due to no parking space left ( happened to us) and this probably tranquil place is then just a tourist trap. We finally got there at 6 p.m. and the bay water was drowning in plastic and other remnants of human race. What a pity for this beautiful spot.
  • Really suggestive place...needs to seen if you are going to visit Maiorca...
  • Magnificent!
