Western Water Park, Magaluf

Categories: Water Parks, Water & Amusement Parks
Inspirock Rating:
2.8/5 based on 1,400+ reviews on the web
With their colorful wooden edifices, the buildings inside Western Water Park seem straight out of Hollywood Westerns. The difference, of course, is that this is a water park, so the people walking in and out of the swinging doors are wearing bathing suits, not chaps. Here you’ll find Wild West-themed slides and a relaxed swimming area, as well as a restaurant serving snacks. • it was great and amazing to spend there if your new to the area to get used to the sun and heat throughout the day
  • Good day out. Large variety of water activities for all ages. Disappointed that you needed to pay extra for lockers after a relatively pricey entrance fee. Food is expensive so a packed lunch may be advisable. Apart from that it is a really fun day out for friends, families or couples.
  • It was a great family trip to Majorca. There was this thing called the boomerang which literally threw you off the ride. This was a great trip and I hope some of you enjoy it as much as I did.
  • We had a great day at the park! There where no extra costs, the staff was friendly. We recommend you to visit this park when you have the time! :)
  • Terrible value. After paying in you had to hire rubber rings for some of the rides but then when you go on rides that don't there is nowhere to save your ring so they get taken by others. Expensive food and water as well
  • Worst place I have ever been! 4th day into our holiday and we took a trip to this waterpark not only did we have to pay for entry you also have to pay for the lockers and the food is expensive. We waited for the wave machine to come on which was a very long time to wait something like 2 hours or every hour until it comes back on again. There are massive buckets which fill up with water and drop down on everyone which was very very dangerous they take people right out and it's not very safe as there is such minimal water there so you hit the bottom of the pool really hard from the pressure, I was knocked out by some massive man which quite clearly the pressure was loads for his body weight. I was lifted up into a bed by the first aid and took to the medical room and seen to I had damaged my ankle and was told to put ice on it and wait an hour and if not better I would Go to hospital I was given tablets to help with the pain! I then returned back to the medical room in a wheelchair and was told I will be going to hospital I then waited 15 minutes for transport to the hospital which happend to be a taxi which was free of charge, I told the water park that I needed to Go to my apartment where I was staying to collect my EHIC card which is my travel insurance they told the taxi Man this and he said he would only do it if we paid money which we did €40 we were staying in Santa ponsa which wasn't far from the waterpark at all, when we arrived at the hospital and I was seen too after 5 minutes of arriving and given a booklet of details I needed to fill in before I left! I then got sent to a X-Ray room where I waited for 20 minutes outside and 10 minutes with all my friends miles away back in reception the hospital name was called Clinica Juaneda. I then was told I had damaged my ankle and they think I have fractured my ankle as all they could see was bones on the X-Ray I thought it was ridiculous I'm no doctor but it was very obvious that was what they were doing to see!!! I then told got told they will plaster my ankle up in a bandage to support it but I couldn't put "weight on it" I was told and was told I Needed to come back the next day I refused to come back as i felt it was pointless and none of the doctors were listening I was told I couldn't fly if I had this bandage so I refused to have that banged they got 3 doctors to tell me The same thing but I wouldn't do It as I've already spent my time and money getting here so I'm not Paying that money. I was then told I Would just have a small bandage and that I won't need to come back which I was happy about! I got to the plaster room and the workers were all laughing and just very rude they didn't even car what ankle they put it in on as they started to Put it on my right ankle which there was no probelm With that one once I had the bandage all done I was sent to the reception to hand back in my details and I handed over my EHIC card and I was then told that the hospital do Not accept it as they were PRIVATE!!!! This was not my choice and I was not told at the water park About that my travel insurance would not be accepted! The receptionist words were the private is down the road but you would have been waiting ages. I was very angry then I received a bill of €299 for everything I had done which was out of order it wasn't my choice to be sent to this hospital there for if anyone is injuried to take yourself as all they want is your money nothing else. Makes me not want to go on holiday ever again as it was pure vile receptionist on Facebook and eating on reception not what I call private at all!!
