Where to stay in Madrid

The Spanish capital is known for its array of distinct neighborhoods each with its own appeal. An affordable and easy-to-navigate metro system, which makes it is easy to get around Madrid gives you more flexibility in choosing where to stay. Perhaps the most popular choice is Puerta del Sol, the heart of the city center and one of the main tourist attractions with its numerous shops, affordable hotels, and restaurants. Close by is Gran Via street, one of the city's main arteries, which is also home to a number of hotels. A short walk from here is Plaza España where the city's most iconic landmarks lie, including the Royal Palace and the Teatro Royal. For somthing outside the traditional tourist areas, consider staying in La Latina or Malasaña, two bohemian neighborhoods that offer a wide range of eclectic shops, quaint cafes, and lively bars.

  • A great comedy running for 7 years. A crew of very good actors and a very well orchestrated plot. You need a very good Spanish knowledge to understand the play.  more »

  • It is the first time I visited this theatre. We went to see the dinner of idiots. Work very good, recommended, you fed up laughing. It's a theater with pretty sill, of the life. The walls have large photos of large Spanish actors. We were in row 2 and it looks great. The worst of the bath theatre. We must get a super narrow, steep staircase... enmoquetada, that if... lol. It is two minutes away from gran Vía.

  • We loved the work and the attendant was very friendly. The room was tiny and very cosy. It is advisable to book the first rows.

  • Problem in the Organization of the seats at the time of purchase online. The space between the seats is quite small but otherwise, ten. An excellent tatro by employees, especially by the am which was a charm with us. The work "dinner for idiots" was so great, that in general highly recommended rating.
