  • The puerta del sol... you can't go from Madrid without spending... The photo in the km0, with the bear and the Madroño! Tell your children that from that tower with bells, is where the new year bells are released. Live for a moment in a tower of Babel, with lots of people of all countries and cultures... that is Madrid. There may be more beautiful places in Madrid, but this must not miss it.

  • I think that if not going to take you the photo with the bear and the Madroño not went to Madrid. A huge square, where huge multiculturalism. It is a place to meet and sit nearby in a bar to take a pint and a cover!

  • I do not recommend the Sun gate to go with children, there are too many people and is overwhelming. Tea asaltsn costumed extras to take photos with the kids and you to pay them. It said a burden.

  • If you like bears, you can't miss the symbol of Madrid, El oso y el madroño, located in Plaza del Sol. For me the best meeting point in the square. Lots of thing to see, take your time and walkaroumd, you will end up with a beer or a candy, even with a "bocadillo iberico"
  • This is the hearth and emblem of one amazing city. You'll find a lot of people and dozens of touristic places just minutes walking from here. The shiny new Apple Store is just here. The clock tower as well, and La Mallorquina sweets places well. From here Plaza Mayor is just a few minutes away. All this area is lovely.
  • Amazing place for walking! Views are beautiful! Many shop and restaurants make it also perfect for shopping and relaxing with a glass of sangria. And yes, your selfies will be good!
  • The best place to go in Madrid if you just want to relax and enjoy street performances, have a drink or eat something. I really suggest to go at night in summer when the weather is really good and there's a lot going on in the plaza.
  • Dynamic place.. Great for ppl watching and for getting a tan/burnt lol
