  • The puerta del Sol is the meeting place for travelers and visitors. There is always a great atmosphere, although it is sometimes in the days of Christmas impossible to walk quiet. The days of Christmas is filled with stalls selling Lottery and onlookers watching the dance shows that make some groups of boys of the city. To others you can take a photo in the kilometer or of the Spain. Is usually celebrate also many manifestations and always there is presence police. Many visitors take a photograph with the legendary wine cartel tio Pepe. No doubt if you come to Madrid is a place that you can not miss.

  • Pressure, shops and restaurants, located on Calle Mayor. Let me put it this way, in the immediate vicinity are much nicer squares. As a starting point for a walk through the numerous traffic-calmed streets towards the great museums is extremely suitable.

  • This neoclassical square was beautiful. In the heart of one of the greatest cities in Europe with the statues of Carlos III and El Oso y El Madrono. Also the 0km sign on the sidewalk is there marking the very heart of Madrid
  • Don't go by night. There are hordes of drunken youngsters, and lots of small drug dealers and illegal in beer vendors. Nothing spectacular, just a crowded place full of all kinds of people.
  • There's life here. It's always full of life. Stop by kilometer zero and enjoy the atmosphere. Go to the famous pastry shop "Mallorquina" and have a Chocolate Napolitana!
  • All measurements for the roads start here, buses and tours to visit Madrid, restaurants, bars and new year's eve celebration... Great place to start your trip of the city, and do not forget to take photo with the bear and tree statue... It is the symbol if Madrid!
  • This is a place you should not miss if you are coming to Madrid, here you are going to find the 0km of Spain which is cool, yeah... I know, there is just a point in the street but gives a lot organisation to the roads in the country. There are la osa y el madroño, which is a symbol of the city and here you will find some other important things. I'll let you search why this place has that name :p During the summer is much better come early morning, then won't be as warm neither as busy.
