  • Well the river is rather a river with not too much water but there is the Park to compensate, the Madrid Rio. The bridge is rather interesting, old, with statues all along. I liked

  • I did not expect to find such a context; the bridge is an ancient construction, solid and imposing that divides two parts of the city by allowing you to cross the Manzanares River (despite the tonnage of is an area for pedestrians only and those who want to navigate by car should use other roads); from the bridge you can see the old Atletido football stadium in Madrid, the Vicente Calderon, of course the grounds of the Toledo bridge and the Park Lineal del Manzanares (or at least a part of it). Build beautiful memories of days gone by, now similar buildings are no longer part of European culture.

  • The bridge that must pass through to get to the city of Toledo, is very nice, with its arches over the river. And you get to a place worthy of the middle ages and conserved as a postcard of yesteryear.

  • It's a relaxing place to visit. Plenty of space to walk, sit an chat or even picnic in summer. One can either jug o ride a bike here because it's long enough to give you a great exercise. Lovely for photos late in the afternoon.
  • Beautiful bridge, beautiful park, a must see of Madrid.
  • Nice place for a walk along the river.
  • Antique, this is real antique bridge. Too long and too charming. I like here than zero point. And impressive one man also.
  • Nice walk or chilling area for a sunny day

Where to stay in Madrid

The Spanish capital is known for its array of distinct neighborhoods each with its own appeal. An affordable and easy-to-navigate metro system, which makes it is easy to get around Madrid gives you more flexibility in choosing where to stay. Perhaps the most popular choice is Puerta del Sol, the heart of the city center and one of the main tourist attractions with its numerous shops, affordable hotels, and restaurants. Close by is Gran Via street, one of the city's main arteries, which is also home to a number of hotels. A short walk from here is Plaza España where the city's most iconic landmarks lie, including the Royal Palace and the Teatro Royal. For somthing outside the traditional tourist areas, consider staying in La Latina or Malasaña, two bohemian neighborhoods that offer a wide range of eclectic shops, quaint cafes, and lively bars.
