  • We liked it very much, not nearly as crowded as in some other places of historic interest, kept perfectly and well organized. I also appreciated the security control at the entrance ... that in these times gives some peace of mind! Plan a half day for the visit.

  • Nice little plaza in front of the palace. Apparently it was created by Napoleon's brother who ruled the city for a few years and demolished many monasteries and nunneries to create public spaces such as this one.
  • We mainly loved the lack of traffic on this square. Just a few cars, but no busy road which makes the garden and walk ways all the more enjoyable. The palace in the background and the crescent street make it a very intersting place.
  • One of the most beautiful places in Madrid, one of my favorite. Great choices of bars and restaurants
  • Beautiful plaza to stroll with statues and a fountain. We only saw it at night but still very crowded.
  • The square is gorgeous. Really nice place to enjoy the sunset. Nice view of the cathedral and the palace.
