  • Former headquarters of the City Hall, this small square love its deep rooted in Spanish, demonstrating the more traditional aspects of Madrid in its buildings. There are many tours that explain in detail its history, and, if it is of interest, it is advisable to hire them.

  • Emblematic site of the Madrid de los Austrias, is small but pretty. Endearing, years ago the City Council of Madrid stood there before of that was transferred to the post office building. If you can visit him with a tour of the area or a tour guide who can explain its history. A stroll through its ancient cobbled streets in charming

  • The square in which formerly was the Town Hall. It is a very beautiful area of Madrid, where we can see its Spanish roots.

  • One of the oldest neighborhoods in the Madrid but nothing super special. If you are planning a nice little sightseeing trip and you have time you should check this place also. :)
  • This is the heart of the very early Madrid and the only place where you will find some very rare moorish architectural details. The main building is the former Town Hall (now still a municipal building). There you can see the original symbol of Madrid (a dragon) along with the present one (a bear).
  • Very nice, lots of history here, get a free tour if you can!
  • Historic place. Unfortunately didn't have much time to see it better
  • If you can find a local to guide you with the story behind it while walking it will be great.
