Fortunately, the monument to Miguel de Cervantes makes your visit worthwhile. Serving as the plaza’s centerpiece, this architect-designed statue of the writer himself, Don Quixote and his true loves, and his sidekick Sancho Panza is impressive. • Located at the end of the Gran Vía, in it we find some interesting buildings, as well as a beautiful monument in honor to Cervantes

  • An iconic square that can be taken as beginning or end of the Gran Vía, framed by iconic buildings in Madrid. Its monuments are stand defying the intense traffic and the daily noise. There is a short walk from crafts, bus and Metro stops. Very close to the Royal Palace, the Almudena Cathedral and Temple of Debod.

  • Ideal to rest if you are taking a walk along Gran Via, at the end of the street you will find the Plaza of Spain. If you go during the Christmas, every year put a craft market with great ideas for gift giving. The rest of the year is a place of relaxation and great spacing. Quiet, centrally located and accessible.
