Admire 18th-century architecture at one of the city’s most influential landmarks, . The white marble fountain depicts the Greek goddess of fertility on a chariot pulled by two lions and serves as an iconic symbol of the city. Take a walk around the fountain’s square to marvel at the impressive surrounding buildings including the Cybele Palace, now the site of the city hall, the Bank of Spain, and the Buenavista Palace. Head to the top floor of the Cybele Palace for a meal with views of the skyline and square below. • The famous fountain is the postcard of the city and is in the Plaza de cibeles, where are some of the most important buildings of the city of the country (as for example the Bank of Spain). The font has a statue of the Greek goddess Cibeles, which is the goddess of fertility. It was built in the 17TH century and based on the design of Ventura Rodriguez, principal architect of the era and the last Spanish Baroque.

  • It is the most famous fountain in Madrid, dating back to the 18TH century and is currently the site par excellence of meeting for soccer celebrations. It is a monumental complex that represents to the goddess in a chariot pulled by Lions. Onsite converge various avenues and famous buildings, personally I really liked the Palace of communications. Enjoy this beautiful and iconic fountain that is a sexy during your visit to the Spanish capital. LIFE... it's a TRIP!
