  • Perfect place to spend the evening, specially during spring, when the almond trees are blooming. A must
  • The park used ot be a privattely owned and was a farm. It was donated to the city many years ago. There are many varieties of trees, and still the Almond Tree Orchards. Breath-taking in the spring when they are in flower! I think it is March... The way it is laid out you feel as if you are still in the country, the finca used lie outside city limits years ago. It is a great place to run, just about 2 km to do the perimeter. And there is shade, a hard thing to come by in some parks. There are drinking fountains at different places to get water too. Maybe wouid not go out of my way to come if in Madrid for only a few days, but if you are staying nearby it is worth a visit for nice walk. Or if you are a runner and travelling, you should come here to keep running!
  • Para caminar, correr, meditar o leer
  • This lovely park is just outside the city center and is a precious place to view the almond trees bloom in march. There are many parks in Madrid, and this is yet one of the places I prefer to go and disconnect from the busy city life. It's quite big, so you can have a nice walk and there are many places where you can sit down and have a picnic. The metro stop of Suances is just opposite.
  • Grande y tranquilo. Los almendros en flor un espectáculo.
