Palacio de Cibeles, Madrid
(4.3/5 based on 3,400+ reviews on the web)
Palacio de Cibeles was once the headquarters of the Spanish postal service, but since 2007 the striking white building has served as Madrid City Hall. For a small charge, you can climb or take an elevator up to the observatory area for panoramic views of the city. Purchase your tickets at the information desk on the second floor. The rooftop bar is another good spot for taking in the view. Make sure to check if any exhibitions are running during your visit (there usually are). • Is color in some nights with lights that you make be a visit required. Is can climb to the terrace (before was free but think a mayor previous it made of payment) claim: already could continue leaving it free for them national, as in others countries where them local or not pay or pay less. In any case deserves the penalty, the Palace and its surroundings for walking.

  • The Cibeles Palace has a beautiful gazebo, qeu upload and enjoy the view, also on the inside is a beautiful Palace to navigate it to meet with various exhibitions, actuelamente one of them is pecebres by Christmas.

  • Precious views illuminated at night, and Christmas more. We were recently in a temporary exhibition inside, and as it happens in other places in Spain, when they re-form it, leave it too new. Perhaps a touch more classic, betting on more exposed stone, other finishes that are not plain white walls, white plywood walls. I don't like the excess of excess of architectural human interference that occurs in some interior remodeling, like this and as in the Alcázar of Toledo. When you visit it, it seems that you are in the typical library built in a starting from the year 2000, too futuristic.

  • Very rude staff when trying to enter. Attempted to ask in Spanish but was just stared at with no help. Other places to go with better views.
  • The view is amazing, but they must hold the world record for the slowest service, and the place wasn't even busy.
  • Expensive and definitely not one of the best terraces of Madrid. I would suggest go up to the observatory and leave the drinks for somewhere else.
  • Un robo total
  • Nice view over La Plaza de Cibeles. The terrace would be basically worth a visit but unfortunately the Service was devastating. The personnel were the unfriendliest people we met during our week in Madrid.
