  • The real oratorio del Caballero de Gracia stands in the heart of downtown Madrid on Calle Caballero de Gracia, one just south of Calle Gran via small road. From the Puerta del Sol is to walk in less than five minutes. The Church is worth because of the very unusual appearance. A dark stone tower was built in a large Archway. Looks real tough. In the Interior, especially the dome with the paintings liked us. For us, this was one of the most interesting churches in the city centre.

  • VERY centrally located Chapel, located in the heart of the city. Work of the architect Juan Villanueva of neoclassical style, which is also the author of the Museo del Prado.

  • If the apse overlooks the Gran Via (17B), entrance at 5 Calle Caballero de Gracia (parallel Street, behind). The architect (for outdoors) is Juan de Villanueva, known to be also the Museum of the Prado.

  • Great place where you can breathe silence and prayer. The Blessed Sacrament is exposed almost all day and therefore you can go to spend some good time with the Lord. There is a replica of the Virgin of Olvido which appeared in the adjoining convent - which was sold and demolished after desamortizarían it Mendizabal-sister sponsorship. The original is in Guadalajara in of the Conceptionist convent. Highly recommended a visit.

  • The Oratory of Caballero de Gracia is a church which overlooked despite being in one of the more popular Madrid such as the Gran Via. Is a neoclassical Church, a typical emblematic building

  • On this last trip to Madrid by Sunday we were looking for a mass in the Center and we have come to the oratory and since then it has been an incredible experience. All a haven of peace in the hustle and bustle of the Gran Via. The oratory is spectacular, much recollection and the image of the crucified Christ is very pious and of great beauty. I advise your visit, it is really a great treasure.
