  • This is a little gem. Very beautiful, services are held daily, quiet, not too many people. I will gladly recommend a visit here.  more »

  • This modern crypt with its decoration and numerous chapels must be almost unique and is well worth visiting. It does not seem to get as busy as the cathedral above.  more »

  • Worth a quick visits. Free admission but they ask for a small donation.
  • This part of the church above is worth a visit as well. It is beautifully decorated and very very serene. I truly enjoy nice architecture and this sure has marvelous characteristics.
  • Most astonishing church I've been in Spain. Thanks to silence and low crowd you can fully enjoy this experience - that's why I also recommend you to choose late hours for visit.
  • Neo-Romanesque style. Latin cross plan. 50 huge columns are arranged in the central nave. In the rest of the crypt you can see other 365 columns. Beautiful.

  • Located under the Cathedral of the Almudena, is built in neo-Romanesque style. It has five naves, more than 400 columns and twenty chapels; the soil consists largely of tombstones. Apart from its architecture is home to two artistic jewelry: the image of the Virgin of the Fleur de Lis and the stature of the Christ of the good road. To access the crypt, there to surround the Cathedral and enter by the main street; admission is free, voluntarily may be deposited 1 or €2 as a donation in an urn located at the entrance. The visiting hours are daily from 10 am to 8 pm.
