  • A good museum with a wonderful exhibition, which presents painting and decorative arts mainly of the 19th century, placed within the city palace. Admission - 3 euros if you are over 65 - admission is free (if you have a document). Exhibits are housed in 26 thematic halls, where you can see how and where they ate, slept, had fun representatives of the Spanish nobility and their children. However, the mood spoils the suspicious and unfriendly attitude of the employees who keep an eye on you and direct your offer. Before entering, all things, including handbags, require to be placed in a storage room. Also, unfortunately, the paintings are placed in such a way that many people can not read the author's name and time of writing. So, you can skip the painting of Goyi, Ribera and other great masters. We recommend you to visit this museum for sure, but be prepared for the fact that you get your spoon of tar.

  • This museum in Madrid offers us a taste of the lifestyle of the people of the time of the grandparents and parents of the founder. The collection of furniture and objects decorate the beautiful building. There are famous objects such as chairs by Juan Ramón Jiménez. Highlights include the music room, the theater, the rooms of the lady of the house and the lord, in addition to the children's playroom. On the other hand, the dining room appears prepared as if waiting for diners and the desk and living rooms as well. There is a café and a charming garden. So you don't miss it.

  • A nicely decorated house also with furniture from the 19th century. Beautiful painted rows and show rooms. Had been there Saturday and had gotten a free entrance ticket

  • One of the most beautiful museums I have visited so far. Not only that the exhibits are interesting, you can even feel the atmosphere of the palace almost as if you actually traveled back in time. The staff is very nice and friendly here and you can see that they actually enjoy what they do. I also appreciate the nice guide you can borrow and read. I'm not a fan of those audio guides for mass tourists. Plus, the entry is free for students which is amazing. And if it isn't enough, you can end your visit in a lovely calm garden with s coffee.
  • An enjoyable place with lots of interesting items, but the staff are a bit overbearing—we were studying some of the objects because we were fascinated, and a staff came up to us to say not to touch, but we were not touching anything! I saw another group experienced this treatment as well while they were looking at something a bit too intensely I guess. Unless someone was actually touching something, I suggest the staff to be a little more relaxed please.
  • A lovely museum which almost makes this period of history bearable. The most delightful courtyard cage!?
  • Love this place! You feel like being in a Palace. There is a small shop and also a lovely cafeteria with a small garden. Worth to have a coffee/tea in the garden if weather permits. Highly recommend to everyone!
  • Nice little museum if about 20+ small rooms. They give you a small guidebook in your language to borrow as you go round. You have to put any bags in a locker before you go in. I went mid-afternoon on a Wednesday and I was practically the only person there.
