  • We went with the children to see the Museum, interesting and curious. It is a good plan to go with the family, is also very cool that leave you to climb several locomotives and wagons, makes you feel you're in another era.

  • In the Centre of Madrid, you have a good plan. Good railway exhibition. The children it will be pipe because they can make a trip in a toy train. The elderly have some terraces. Recommended.

  • A pass to see the trains circulating years ago. You can contemplate the Talgo on the inside and there are a couple of them in which you can enter the area of the driver. Old accessories of the halts as tickets, miniature replicas can be seen in several rooms of the Museum... The entrance is very affordable, there is also a wagon restaurant where to eat and the typical gift shop.

  • Small compared to other museums of madrid. But good to see. You can spend an hour. Lots of stalls selling railway and other related toys. Kids will like it
  • Great place for kids who love trains. Not too big, in 60 minutes one can pass through the whole museum. Nice caffe-bar.
  • A rare glimpse into the past. It's a nice place to visit if you are into old trains and such. There are various railway related items exhibited in the waiting rooms that worth to visit. Also, there is a room where model trains are on show presenting the history of trains from steam to bullet trains. My favourite piece is a steam engine cut up in a way that shows the inner working parts of the locomotive. It's like an exploded drawing but in 3D. Maybe it's my fault but I didn't find any written explanations or guides about the technical details of the trains or what they did what they were capable of. None the less I enjoyed being there. The trains are not moving so it's a fairly safe place for kids too.
  • Nice museum. No too big so good for a quick pop-in for an hour o so. Old style cafeteria wagon that is open for lunch or coffee/drinks. Didn't eat lunch but smelled really good. Short theater show (40 min), good for kids (additional charge).
  • I live right next to it, and I LOVE IT. You can come every day and pay 3 eur per person, or you can come when there are bazars and special events and then it's free.
