  • Amazing cathedral
  • Worth to see.
  • The Museum of the Cathedral de la Almudena is a great unknown in the city of Madrid. If you organize with time you can request a guided tour. Guides you are teaching and telling the story of each one of the rooms of this museum that presents a few framework Rupnik mosaics in its Chapter House and sacristy that do not leave indifferent. You can upload up to a terrace that is at the top of the Cathedral, and from there have spectacular views of the city of Madrid, including the casa de campo. It is highly recommended.

  • I enjoyed the visit. Audio guide, free wifi, spectacular views and a unique site. You're Catholic or not is interesting and part of the Madrid culture. The best views from the cupola costs €4 If you're from Madrid.

Where to stay in Madrid

The Spanish capital is known for its array of distinct neighborhoods each with its own appeal. An affordable and easy-to-navigate metro system, which makes it is easy to get around Madrid gives you more flexibility in choosing where to stay. Perhaps the most popular choice is Puerta del Sol, the heart of the city center and one of the main tourist attractions with its numerous shops, affordable hotels, and restaurants. Close by is Gran Via street, one of the city's main arteries, which is also home to a number of hotels. A short walk from here is Plaza España where the city's most iconic landmarks lie, including the Royal Palace and the Teatro Royal. For somthing outside the traditional tourist areas, consider staying in La Latina or Malasaña, two bohemian neighborhoods that offer a wide range of eclectic shops, quaint cafes, and lively bars.
