Das Monumento de Goya steht etwas außerhalb der typischen Touristenströme an einem Kreisverkehr am Ende der Paseo de la Florida. Vom Königspalast aus ist man zu Fuß in weniger als 15 Minuten hier. Hie... more »

The Monumento de Goya stands somewhat outside the typical tourist crowds at a roundabout at the end of Paseo de la Florida. From the King's Palace is in less than 15 minutes to walk. There are balled memories of Goya. In addition to the two monuments, also his grave and a chapel, where he has painted the dome is located. There only a few guests is to get lost up here, it is so possible to look at everything in peace and quiet.

We could see one of the two sculptures, located next to the Prado Museum and to be honest was by chance while we were doing queue to enter the Museum. This is where the great painter sitting is.
