  • Monument to the customary simple soldier (Monument of Cabo Noval) installed on the Plaza de Oriente. The monument stands in the garden of Cape Noval. Spanish soldier, corporal Luis Ferrao Noval (1887-1909), heroically died during fighting in Morocco. His Act is considered heroic and is a symbol of Spanish patriotism. He is depicted in military uniform with a rifle in his hand, the woman behind him, waving a flag. Made with bronze and stone Plaque reads: "built on the initiative of the women of Spain in honor of soldier Luis Novalja. The motherland will never forget those who gave their lives for you! "
