  • Wondered in here walking the streets of Salamanca. Lot's of Deli, Charcutterie, Fish, Pastry etc. Next to it is a mini Carrefour with other staples.
  • Excellent market in the Centre of the District of Salamanca, excellent quality to buy any food. Is this modernized or transformed in recent years appearing positions where to eat, taste or food conprae or prepared drink, but the besesin the stalls of quality of life. Very interesting to give a return if you are near. There are many and super markets in Madrid, with different atmospheres and confuguraciones that are always worth visiting. San Miguel, San Antón, San Ildefonso and many others that are evolving as Callao, Barceló... etc

  • The go-to place in Barrio Salamanca for all your fresh produce, seafood, meats, poultry, cheeses, wines, olives... you name it and you can probably find it there. It's central to the neighbourhood and clean and bright, with appealing displays of food - makes you want to buy everything you see!
  • Fabulous market, full of locals. Several stalls that serve both tapas as well as heavier dishes. Great for those looking for a slice of everyday Madrid.
  • Great menu of the day on Wednesday at Casa Dani; but be early 1pm or you will miss a table. Ten euros per head.
  • Lovely market with a good range of stalls, bars, cafés and little restaurants.
  • Mercado de la Paz is where you should go to live like a local... all of the others are much more tourist-centric. Located in bario de salamanca, this market gives you good mix of upscale cuisine with quality produce/seafood without the extra frills. Loved walking through here.
