  • Normal market, it has restoration very well. We had dinner in Japanese open until 22:30. Pleasant staff. We draw attention that had many Japanese people dining that pushed us to try. The "local" is a square in the middle of the market. We have dinner about € 22.

  • Market Anton Martin has completed 75 years. In the area where now stands already existed put food many years before. This market, as others many of Madrid, step by bad times, but never it has yielded. A few years ago the third floor of the market became a reference of flamenco dance school. The second floor until a couple of years ago was pretty empty, but now is again brimming with jobs. The ground floor is that has never lost its taste to market, keeping with a high level of employment even in the worst years. Anecdotally, tell you that years ago in market prices varied according to in that plant will buy. So the prices were cheaper in the third and most expensive on the ground floor. Unlike other markets, in Anton Martin has been an evolution, where keeping many of the traditional stalls, have been incorporated jobs, where you can find prepared food from different countries, put food from other regions and even a post dedicated to the algae. I advise you to visit this market, where Besides enjoying a super ride inside, you can enjoy good food and good drink in any of the positions dedicated to this.

  • Very nice food market. I really loved the variety of markets you can find in Madrid. The market has a nice offer of different food, to bring home or to eat there. It really look more local than touristic and that is great. They have some small space where they sell only cereals to eat. They had so many kinds of different cereals... I loved it. I recommend to include it in your day trip if you are in Madrid
  • Very cool market with a lot of dining options. Definitely a more locals than tourist spot.
  • One of the various local food markets in Spain. Although it is big I would still recommend the Mercado de San Miguel by Plaza Mayor over this one. Their drinks are a tad bit expensive considering you have to serve yourself, but there is an Hamburguesa Nostra that makes the trip there worth it.
  • We went here after a quick pass through San Miguel, and while much smaller it was much more our style. Unfortunately it was a Sunday night so the actual market part was closed, but the food on the second level was consistently amazing - we sampled six or seven different dishes from different vendors - and the views we had of the market goods from above were promising. I don't usually go for sangria but we were told the rooftop bar had the best in the city, so we had to try and it did not disappoint. It's a great place to spend a hot summer night.
  • Nice local market with a mixture of traditional stalls and hipster stuff. Some good places to eat too.
