  • Market district, with butchers, fruit and vegetables, fish stalls, bakeries... and also great gastronomic venues such as Yoka Loka, a Japanese reference in Madrid.

  • It is a market with traditional touches always fused with modern and trendy, jobs gastro in their halls can take from a bowl of cereal to the most purest style Japanese food until GBS of the more high-level, curious to visit and test site.

  • More traditional market with diversified structure to flamenco dance school has (Amor de Dios). The well-stocked market of Madrid. Don't have that footprint of the Mercado de San Miguel. In Anton Martin you'll find stands that sell what the Spanish purchase, to go to a market. Also has a few restaurants where you recommend an amazing pizza, which is on the ground floor. There are even vegetarian food restaurant. The tents only work during the day, at night only a few restaurants. Put the picture of the account with the amount that we spend on pizzeria: two pizzas, wine and coffee (24 euros)

  • Very nice food market. I really loved the variety of markets you can find in Madrid. The market has a nice offer of different food, to bring home or to eat there. It really look more local than touristic and that is great. They have some small space where they sell only cereals to eat. They had so many kinds of different cereals... I loved it. I recommend to include it in your day trip if you are in Madrid
  • Very cool market with a lot of dining options. Definitely a more locals than tourist spot.
  • One of the various local food markets in Spain. Although it is big I would still recommend the Mercado de San Miguel by Plaza Mayor over this one. Their drinks are a tad bit expensive considering you have to serve yourself, but there is an Hamburguesa Nostra that makes the trip there worth it.
  • We went here after a quick pass through San Miguel, and while much smaller it was much more our style. Unfortunately it was a Sunday night so the actual market part was closed, but the food on the second level was consistently amazing - we sampled six or seven different dishes from different vendors - and the views we had of the market goods from above were promising. I don't usually go for sangria but we were told the rooftop bar had the best in the city, so we had to try and it did not disappoint. It's a great place to spend a hot summer night.
  • Nice local market with a mixture of traditional stalls and hipster stuff. Some good places to eat too.
