  • Interesting if you stay far away. Decent prices. Rather Madrid attendance. For the rest it does not break three-legged duck (Spanish where others). Architecture without interest. Not very "typical" displays, rather cold atmosphere. In summary, not essential.

  • A place with a variety of products, close to the station of meter of the same name. However, it is not as quaint or recommended as others in the same city

  • This market blends the traditional with the modern and Saturdays for tapas mola much, there are authentic delights there highlighting in a corner where they put very good wines and the best cakes I have ever tasted in madrid. Highly recommended market to start Madrid tapas both day and night. We will be back!

  • Very nice food market. I really loved the variety of markets you can find in Madrid. The market has a nice offer of different food, to bring home or to eat there. It really look more local than touristic and that is great. They have some small space where they sell only cereals to eat. They had so many kinds of different cereals... I loved it. I recommend to include it in your day trip if you are in Madrid
  • Very cool market with a lot of dining options. Definitely a more locals than tourist spot.
  • One of the various local food markets in Spain. Although it is big I would still recommend the Mercado de San Miguel by Plaza Mayor over this one. Their drinks are a tad bit expensive considering you have to serve yourself, but there is an Hamburguesa Nostra that makes the trip there worth it.
  • We went here after a quick pass through San Miguel, and while much smaller it was much more our style. Unfortunately it was a Sunday night so the actual market part was closed, but the food on the second level was consistently amazing - we sampled six or seven different dishes from different vendors - and the views we had of the market goods from above were promising. I don't usually go for sangria but we were told the rooftop bar had the best in the city, so we had to try and it did not disappoint. It's a great place to spend a hot summer night.
  • Nice local market with a mixture of traditional stalls and hipster stuff. Some good places to eat too.
