  • Eat in the center of Madrid Sunday can be strenuous... so it is best to approach a stroll to the gardens of Sabatini to get away from the hustle and bustle. He is a careful and quiet place while there are many people, especially now that approaches the good time. You can sit to read, give a twist and choose places both the Sun and the shade to rest from the long weekend walks by Madrid Center. It is a jewel that in other countries would have to pay. Here you go free.

  • What to learn – Madrid, the highest capitals (around 660 m above sea level) - and snow itself every 2 years - but had to be precisely this weekend? No T-Shirt, no down jacket was announced - and yet - the beauty of the gardens, the clarity of the architecture and of course the rest (5 degrees, drizzle rule, wind) bring a very strange mood in the gardens...

  • I have gone many times and each time I like more. On this last visit had many tourists, visit becomes less calmly with so many people, but it is always very pleasant, especially in the spring.

  • While not a large garden as far as royal palace gardens go, the garden is kept very well, with many of the hedges and trees within trimmed into lovely shapes. If you are wanting to visit the gardens after you've visited the palace, then the nearest entrance is only for those who are able to use stairs. There is however, other entrances further away more suitable for those who might be in wheelchairs, crutches etc. Note that this route has a rather bumpy passage leading down into the garden, due to the decorative patterns on the path.
  • Not a necessarily huge garden, but it is still well-maintained and beautiful. Lovely place to take a break in an afternoon in your Madrid tour.
  • These gardens offer a repose from the summer heat. There are so many places to get lost and relax with the sound of water always close by all with the backdrop of the royal palace.
  • They are not as large as one might expect but they are very well kept. Offers a nice walk when you get too tired of asphalt.
  • Average park next to Royal Palace which creates nice experience. I would expect better benches but this shows the park has more decorative role. It's shame that they close it just before sunset.
