  • Classic Catholic Church with lots of ornaments and statues of saints. Plenty of opportunities to make a donation to your favorite Saint.
  • Considered one of the oldest in the city, it started to be built during the 14TH century, the time of which dates its mudejar Tower, 30 metres high; the most characteristic of the temple architectural element. It has undergone numerous reforms. Home to one of the images most venerated by locals: of Jesús the poor, from the end of the 18TH century, to the capital Holy Thursday procession. The entrance to the Church is free. Opening during the summer hours are Monday through Thursday and Saturday, from 09.00 to 12.30 and from 18.00 to 21.00; Friday from 07.00 to 21.00 and Sunday, from 09.00 to 12.30

  • When the Church is open, you can take a look at her insides. You must not accept this but an Imweg.

  • This lovely old church is a 10 minute stroll from the san pedro boulevard. Its not always open .I think for reasons of security, but sunday mass is at 12 mid day and we've found it open during the morning for people to pop in. its situatde in a pretty plaza where you can sit and watch the world go buy or have a coffee, tapa, or even a meal.
  • Is an of them churches more ancient of Madrid, is built in the century XIV and is of style Mudéjar (similar to his Tower), is simple but very beautiful. Inside it houses Jesús Nazareno "poor" image and the Holy Mary of the sweet name, two of the steps most beautiful and popular of the Holy week in the capital. Out in procession on Holy Thursday, and I don't say this because of the brotherhood, but the output of both is simply spectacular. 😃
