  • Located in calle de Alcala, in the heart of Madrid, this Baroque church is worth a visit, it's free and the afternoon is open. It is very beautiful

  • Is a church expectacular built in 1730 by the arquirecto Pedro de Ribera. It is of large proportions and unvrico heritage. It is not a Museum, it is a temple, but are aconstumbrados to the tourists, but by logic if you are giving mass you will need to respect the liturgical act. This church is saved from being demolished by the construction of the Gran Via. In fact work on the Gran Via began with the demolition of the House of the priest, who was attached to this church, and the facade was slightly modified to align its height with the rest of the new buildings. Tuene the curiosity that inside there is a plaque commemorating that this igledia is Ed EL CSPITAN DE LAS ESPAÑAS SIMON BOLÍVAR, which later become the leader of the independence of the Spanish territories in America. You don't see it, it is free, and usually click in the mornings and in the evenings

  • We know this church by chance, strolling through the gran via and going to the mercado de San Anton, and was a pleasant surprise. Amazing architecture. Historical and spiritual place.

  • Historic Church located in Gran Via Street.
  • The Church of San Jose is located on a very street, Calle de Alcala. We enjoy visiting this church because it has important art. There is an important sculpture of the Crucified Christ by Alonso de Mena and a San Jose by Luis Salvador Carmona.
