  • Architecture and quite significant images, it is worthwhile to contemplate them. It is a shame to not have images as well by the city. It conveys peace.

  • The Church of calatravas are near the ceviger Metro station. Is the Knight of calatravas. The building was built in 1670. Baroque architecture has been adopted. Also your altar statues has a typical Baroque finish in Angel on our Lady and Jesus statue is gorgeous gorgeous, look at them. Truly is a master of the Baroque period, José Benito de chulghera (José Benito de Churriguera).

  • Under the design given by Fray Lorenzo de San Nicolas, the masters of Isidro Martínez and Miguel Chocarro works, made between 1670 and 1678 Church and the adjacent convent, the latter knocked down in 1872. He was about to be demolished together with the convent but was saved thanks to the intervention of Manuel Silvela, who at the date Cortes session March 9, 1870 managed to obtain government resolution respecting the Church. The main altarpiece, work of Churriguera José, it is made with Golden and polychromed wood and is considered a perfect example of the current exalted Baroque or Churrigueresque.

  • Located in the heart of Calle Alcalá, very close from the Puerta del Sol, is of Baroque style, the facade is very old. They are San Antonio, the virgen del Carmen, San Francisco. Completita, but beware of the homeless out.
