  • Years ago this was a neighborhood degraded to the point that gave between grief and disgust pass by there. Thanks to the proliferation of business, local and gay-friendly housing the district has revived and has become a modern, open, vibrant area and with lots of flavor. It is a must-see place you understand or not.

  • We visit it one day of week throughout the afternoon, so nothing to say of its nightlife. Honestly, day, is only a quarter, and not one of the most interesting Madrid (which has so many). The food places are rather expensive (and not worthwhile). I don't know very well that is expected from a neighborhood where to live and visit gay people, but lacks major attractions and has even dimly lit. With all due respect, it is just a neighborhood and a little bored. Perhaps at night is another thing, but it depends on what you look for. Day and tourists is not worth, though they recommend it very much. Tourists who want to see what "gay" outside overnight, will find a neighborhood with people who come and go. Nothing out of the ordinary. Some clothing stores have good designs in stained glass, but no store had prices in sight.

  • Depends on what you look for, upscale shopping or a cane in a terrace to the Sun, best midweek party, jaleo and drinks, best weekend, though, remember that there are the Juernes in Madrid (starts to leave Thursday night).
