From here you can enjoy a magnificent view. It is one of the most underrated attractions. For me it is definitely to do.

Interesting and recommended visit to see the city and the sierra to bird's eye view. Glass elevator with rise to nearly 100 m. I was with someone that has vertigo and the step fatal, but my I loved it.

Nice visit! There is an elevator and the price (3 euros) was also good. I recommend to go there to know Madrid more.  more »

  • Worth it! Vistas muy bonita. Madrid is beautiful from up high
  • It is a good view, but the heat you endure once you get to the top is unbearable, it forces you to stay for no more than 2 minutes without breaking a sweat. There is a lot of security checks, not sure the reason. Could be better
  • Only two stars, because I did not get further than 10 meters up in the elevator. It stopped, and then after some button pushing finally went down again (normal speed) until it hit the bottom hard without braking slowly. Quite a shock, but not too hard to do any damage. I got my €3 ticket reimbursed and decided not to try again....
  • Cheap entry fee. Great panorama of Madrid. Recommend during sunset hours
  • Cons: - Glasses were not clean enough to take photo/video. - Columns of the window blocks the view a bit. Pros: - DSLR cameras are allowed without extra payment. But tripods are not allowed. - I was with friend has height-phobia, it is not that frightening. The floor is not transparent and you can't get closer to the sides, you feel secure than expected. The elevator has also a non-transparent backside so you don't feel frustrated too much. - 30mins of time limitation is enough even for timelapse. - There you can find cold drinks for 1-2 euros

Where to stay in Madrid

The Spanish capital is known for its array of distinct neighborhoods each with its own appeal. An affordable and easy-to-navigate metro system, which makes it is easy to get around Madrid gives you more flexibility in choosing where to stay. Perhaps the most popular choice is Puerta del Sol, the heart of the city center and one of the main tourist attractions with its numerous shops, affordable hotels, and restaurants. Close by is Gran Via street, one of the city's main arteries, which is also home to a number of hotels. A short walk from here is Plaza España where the city's most iconic landmarks lie, including the Royal Palace and the Teatro Royal. For somthing outside the traditional tourist areas, consider staying in La Latina or Malasaña, two bohemian neighborhoods that offer a wide range of eclectic shops, quaint cafes, and lively bars.
