  • This lighthouse or tower, was built several years ago, to monitor traffic, it is located in Moncloa, next to the Arc de Triomphe. It is a place that you can visit, but that I think has no interest. It has suffered several mishaps due to its poor construction

  • Although it has been reopened from 2015 because since its opening in 1993 only lasted three years open I have to admit that it is a monument that has surprised me very much for its views of nearly 360 degrees of all recommended Madrid.Muy to get a good idea of the extent and important landmarks in the city. Good explanations on panels.

  • I love history, see ample urban scenery and take pictures. Last but not least: I love fairly priced attractions (which is why Barcelona sucks so low, they rip you off). Faro doesnt just meets my 4 cri...  more »

  • I really loved it. Just 3€ nice views it was quiet. Lovely pictures for sightseeing lovers
  • I used to come to the Faro on trips with friends and was disappointed when it closed several years ago, and equally delighted when I heard it had re-opened. The entrance ticket was 3€ and you can spend as long as you want up there. You can no longer walk the 360 degrees (nor could you for a while previously) but you can still view the area away from the city. As for the city views, they are pretty spectacular and the best way to view Madrid from above. It's not the easiest place to get to (Moncloa metro probably the best way) but worth it.
  • Replica of Puerta de Alcala. Historical Building intersection.
  • Best views of Madrid for only €3! Not too crowded!
  • Nice place to take good pictures
