  • the route can be done in a train coming from the entrance of the Palace, is worthwhile because it is a great place to walk and you can have a glance of all over the place

  • Beautiful park where nature is the protagonist. There are many and varied presence of trees, where any surprises by its dimensions. I guess that with each season of the year, the Park transforms and changes. Park of great dimensions, where it is easy to get lost. Good option for relaxing are and walk without rush.

  • Lovely hidden garden. If you're in the area it's a nice place to come sit and relax. It's a bit small but quite quaint. Beware of weekend visits as you will most definitely run into tourist groups making their rounds and considering it's a bit small, it doesn't offer too much privacy. Last time I was there I was basically part of the tour simply by being there.
  • A nice quiet spot so close to the centre
  • Located in the Madrid de los Austrias, in the Plaza de la Paja, is one of the few preserved in Madrid's noble 18th century gardens. It is small, it occupies an area of about 500 m2. Honestly, I don't see much interest, very abandoned, cans, plastics, and paper in the corners... in addition, the vegetation was not at its best. Admission is free and the opening hours, from 10.00 to 22.00 in the summer and from 10.00 to 18.30 in winter.
