  • I was lucky enough to visit the interior of the Congress with a collective guest and the truth is that one feels to diving by the history of our country. See the Chamber where they are members of, holes of bullets that caused the coup of 23F, the living room of the ushers where Adolfo Suárez was detained during the coup, find members by lobbies, etc... It is exciting. Pity that only public there are rare exceptions where you can visit the interior, as it is the day of the Spanish Constitution, December 6.

  • They taught us the part that can be visited. Well prepared and sympathetic Guide. Obviously, controls at the entrance and you have to be with time so they give you a number. It's free and worth.

  • The Palacio de las Cortes is located in the career of Jerome and is a beautiful building of neoclassical style, opened in 1850 by Queen Isabel II, undergoing numerous renovations to the day. The main façade, masterpiece of Spanish neoclassicism, Renaissance reminiscent with a large portico of six Corinthian columns supporting a triangular pediment with a bas-relief representing Spain with the Constitution, accompanied by various allegories. The monumental staircase is flanked by two lions cast in 1866 with the cannons taken from the enemy in the war in Africa.

  • Gorgeous building. The lions statues are awesome. In front of it is the Cervantes statue.
  • Roman looking building. Looks great.
  • Gorgeous architecture. You can get Wonderful pictures there and from there to plaza Neptuno.
  • We were lucky to visit with a guided tour the Spanish parliament. I think its only possible at Saturday mornings every half an hour between 10.30 and 12.30. Just que at the entrance at the left side of the doors they only open when the King brings a visit. Don't forget your ID
  • Very beautiful if you walk along the street in the sunny morning!
