Circulo de Bellas Artes, Madrid
(4.1/5 based on 400+ reviews on the web)
Founded by a group of artists in 1880 and reorganized during the Movida in 1983, Circulo de Bellas Artes has served as an integral hub of art, education, and culture in Madrid since its inception. The nonprofit arts center houses vast collections of visual art, as well as its own cinema, theater, and radio station. Enjoy foreign and independent films in their original languages, or attend a concert, play, or presentation. The 1926 building, designed by the architect Antonio Palacios, is as emblematic as the art within it. The modern rooftop lounge is a popular place to have a cocktail while enjoying panoramic views of the city--it has a relaxed vibe and plenty of seating. People watchers will enjoy lunch at La Pecera (The Fishbowl), which boasts premium views of the Calle Alcalá through floor-to-ceiling windows. • Great this introduction to opera for children. They will spend big during all the function and pass know the story and listen to the music of this opera. The singers/actors/comedians are fantastic. And pose to make you photos with them! Very recommendable for children small! We love! My 3 year old daughter wanted to go and then I even wanted to raise with them to the scenario to sing and was the first of the fotocall.

  • It feels timeless, in the heart of Madrid, surrounded by a strongly aesthetic and imbued with memories décor

  • Not only it is the payment at the entrance by climbing to the roof to take pictures, the problem is waiting for the queue and security controls, slow down much and continues to be a 10-minute visit. The views are very beautiful and there are good photos, but we are going, nothing especially special

  • Such a gorgeous view! Being in Madrid for the first time, it felt like such a classy place to be. It has amazing views, trendy bar, and overall a great experience!
  • Art gallery good. Rooftop patio is great viewing, HOWEVER don't stay for food or drinks. Staff is extremely rude and they don't want you to stay. Took nearly 20 monotony order coffee, another 20 minutes to get a menu. In addition, we were overcharged. Plenty of other great places to see Madrid. I will definitely not be going back here.
  • You really only pay for the view. There are exhibitions on two of the six floors if you're willing to pay an extra euro though they can be a bit hit and miss. The lift is soooooo old. It took forever to get up to the top.
  • The views from this place are the best you can get in the city. No joke. Doesn't matter if you're a tourist or a national, the picture is outstanding. You have to pay to get to the roof, but it's totally worth it. You will get the best pictures for your instagram too. There's also a bar-lounge-pub situation going on, really fancy.
  • The view is stunning but the loud chart dance being pumped out across the whole terrace kills the vibe
