  • The first thing I want to highlight is the active policy of reconstruction of spaces recovering the furniture and the original aesthetics of the Palace. So now you can have a better idea of how they were the two dining rooms as well as the office of the Marquis. Not have been greater this policy of acquisitions because when they come to auction partners of America House agencies have not made a big outlay. A few years ago I visited it and I can say that it has improved. The explanations I've liked more and especially that it has increased the number of visiting stays. You can in my opinion better understand the building and the historical context in which it was created. Unfortunately only visit on Saturday and Sunday mornings. The institution should be open to the public most days to make this building one of the landmarks of the capital.

  • Good atmosphere and great food. 10 service, very professional. Price according to the product. Dinner in a garden in Madrid is priceless. Repeat safe.

  • No doubt the main reason to go is the environment. The terrace is a gem. Sheltered from the heat by umbrellas and dispersers of water, avoiding heat and concentrates on the meal. The gazpacho with cheese ice cream and fish are the choice. Quality at the height of the place, which invites you to stretch the desktop.

  • Great building. Unfortunately we didn't had the change to go inside.
  • Beautiful place with a swanky bar and nice restaurant both to be enjoyed in the summer as they both have a great patio, specially charming at night. Great cigar smoking club inside the building
  • Good location
  • t is by Cibeles is the most beautiful fountain of Madrid (there are a lot of them, basically at each roundabout). The supporters of Real Madrid gather here to celebrate their victories (lately they haven't had much to celebrate). It is also closed when there is a celebration so you can leave your bathing suit at home. :)
  • A beautiful former palace(apparently haunted),where one can enjoy many cultural offerings from Latin America including expositions and film screenings. In general the activities are not free, their website has all the info.

Where to stay in Madrid

The Spanish capital is known for its array of distinct neighborhoods each with its own appeal. An affordable and easy-to-navigate metro system, which makes it is easy to get around Madrid gives you more flexibility in choosing where to stay. Perhaps the most popular choice is Puerta del Sol, the heart of the city center and one of the main tourist attractions with its numerous shops, affordable hotels, and restaurants. Close by is Gran Via street, one of the city's main arteries, which is also home to a number of hotels. A short walk from here is Plaza España where the city's most iconic landmarks lie, including the Royal Palace and the Teatro Royal. For somthing outside the traditional tourist areas, consider staying in La Latina or Malasaña, two bohemian neighborhoods that offer a wide range of eclectic shops, quaint cafes, and lively bars.
