  • The main street is one that must be street in Madrid. I advise you get a guide and go through it from the Plaza Sol, searching for and calling attention to the most interesting structure, which here weight (but very close to hid and the Plaza Mayor, where it is easy to get to by going through one of the arches). In fact, this Street will provide an opportunity to fully appreciate the beauty of the city, get an idea of the architectural monuments belonging to different epochs and styles. That can be mentioned: House # 10 (the historical confectionery El Riojano), no. 50 (in this House born Lope de Vega), no. 52 (on the roof of the House a remarkable sculpture Crashed Angel "), no. 59 (the oldest pharmacy in Madrid, 1576), no. 61 (historic house with a narrow frontage width of 5 m), no. 69 (" the haunted house "), no. 79 (remarkable Palace), no. 84 (House of Sir'jako with a monument in memory of the dead during the attempted assassination of the Royal family in 1906) No. 86 (Palace, the so-called "Italian Embassy"), etc. etc. As you can see, even a short list suggests that there is something to look at.

  • Is an of the arteries leading from the city. Sol with calle Bailén communicates and is a delight to walk it. It is the House of Lope de Vega and there was the attack of the King Alfonso XIII.
