  • We took the metro from our hotel to the Plaza de Toros (Las Ventas) and stepped off the subway directly onto the site. Easy and inexpensive navigating. We enjoyed using the audio guide to tour the sma...  more »

  • Very friendly Museum staff. Good approximation to the taurine culture. The penalty is that the lighting of the display cases is poor and not enhances costumes (old and dim lights of neon) lights.

  • Interesting arena with live bull fights. Note: Skip this place if you abhor or can't stomach gore and violence.
  • Free entrance mon-fri 09:30 - 14:30 hrs Sun, hols & bullfighting days 10:00 - 13:00 hrs
  • we went as a small group to Madrid and a few wanted to go to the bullring . I object to the cruel sport of bull fighting but went along on basis that we were not actually witnessing a bull fight . I enjoyed the tour , avoided the videos , and found the history aspect really interesting . All done with an audio tour in good English and lots of vantage points in the bullring itself .
  • Helpful staff and lots of history
  • Very touristy place, worth visiting when they have bull fights.
