  • Barrio Las Letras does honor to its name by the presence of the old writers in the Bohemian spirit of the place. Its phrases are written in the flat or decorated lso from different shops with very good taste, including taverns where you can enjoy tapas and talk about books and writers.

  • Essential place to visit on foot, wander the streets, reading printed texts on the ground, seeing the posters of the geniuses of letters who lived in this neighborhood.

  • There is much people of out of Madrid and of Madrid that not knows really the scope of the District of the lyrics in the history of the literature Spanish. Vegetable gardens and the area where he lived Cervantes, lived and is buried Lope de Vega, Calderón, Góngora and Quevedo vivio is not something that meet many young and not so young people who know more this area by the bars and restaurants than for its history. If there were no reviews in the streets and plates showing it, people would not know or because he is called the District of letters... Incredible but true!
