  • Building blown for a moment, I do miss is the Atocha train station bombings Memorial. 3/11/2004 should not be absolute sad incident. Was suspected or militants of the Basque country (Basque Fatherland and liberty) initially, but is actually made of Islamic extremist terrorist groups. People who became victims was 191. This incident in the RENFE also airfield to leave luggage inspection is tightened.

  • It is a pity that a monument that wants to remember the victims and family members of the 11-m is in this State. It has already reopened its doors to the public, but their condition is deplorable: the balloon is full of patches, messages can hardly be read and the room where it is located is bleak, now stifling in the summer and very dark, generating a sense of abandonment. Opening hours: Tuesday to Sunday, 11-14 and 17-19 (Monday is closed).

  • The Memorial is located inside the Atocha station. Entrance through the sealed doors. Inside the air post on the site of the explosion, the walls are carved the names of the dead in this terrible terrorist attack. Very impressive!
