  • It's amazing and a bit ironic that the Arab wall is madrid's oldest remains from around 900AD. This is a huge wall that's impressively built. The park has several explanations about the history behind...  more »
  • We can see part of the Arab wall of Madrid in the rear area of the Almudena Cathedral, the Romanesque crypt and the Park of the Emir Mohamed. It was built in the 9th century, during the Muslim domination of the peninsula. Integrated in the Park we can see a canvas of about 85 metres in length, the largest preserved. We also found some informative panel in the surrounding area, but in general, except the outlined canvas, the set does not provide too much interest, not have put in value.

  • Located on the street side of the Cathedral of the Almuneda, opposite the entrance of the crypt. They are the remains of the Arab wall with a small and very nice Park with a star of David in homage to the Jewish community. There is a representation of your extension. The visit is free because it is outdoors. We went with a Sandesman tour and the guide told us very well, I recommend it
