  • Crypt in the Cathedral of Almudena is designed in a neo-Romanesque style. Big columns decorated with drawings. Interesting architecture.

  • Located under the Cathedral of the Almudena, is built in neo-Gothic style. It has five naves, more than 400 columns and twenty chapels; the soil consists largely of tombstones. Apart from its architecture houses two jewels artistic: the image of the Virgin of the flower of Lis and the carving of the Christ of the good road. To access the crypt, there to surround the Cathedral and enter by the main street; admission is free, voluntarily may be deposited 1 or €2 as a donation in an urn at entrance; It is untrue, as mentioned in another post, that they won't let someone if you don't deposit the donation; It is completely voluntary. The visiting hours are daily from 10 am to 8 pm.

  • Excellent experience, not there that walk or pay much. The crypt is precious, all its columns (different each other) are precious. A quiet, beautiful place. 100% recommended walking those 150 meters ;)
