  • Lugo is a lovely city (especially if visiting on a sunny day, as it was my case), walkable, with pleasant corners, good places to eat (any bar give you one or more caps with consumption), but what most caught my attention was its Roman, imposing walls, and which can be recorrero, free, by its adarve or paseo de ronda , around its perimeter. The adarve is very wide and allows the passage of several people at the same time. In fact, it struck me used which is to walk, to run, to contemplate the ciudead from another perspective, etc. In short, a visit advisable.

  • Very wide and longer than 2 km city wall. The extremely strong and thick wall is so wide that multiple people can go side by side. A beautiful walk, you can go around the old town on the wall and look on Cathedral and houses from the top. Rarely seen a such impressive Roman walls

  • Lugo is one of the very few places that keeps complete its original roman walls. 2.8 kilometers that can be peacefully walked over as one sees the rest of the city. Also a perfect place for a run, for those who like it. The size of the wall gives you an idea of how big the roman city must have been
  • Simply one of the most beautiful places in all Spain! You have to visit it! I'm from Italy and is all so actractive
  • Located in center of Lugo. Place is perfect for families and couples to come out in the evening and enjoy the weather. Good food spots and shopping spots are freely available.
  • Well preserved monument and witness of the history of the city. Pleasant walk. Grand Centre with plenty of information in several languages.

  • If you go through the city an obligatory visit. It is worth a stroll, walk and observe the city and views are offered from the Roman monument. Also widely used as a route for walking or running.
