  • It is fine for walking, as well as being a monument of great historical value. However, you should be more careful, to be world heritage, it is shame to see MOSS out all the wall...

  • Be in Lugo and not turn by the wall is unforgivable. It's a quiet walk with beautiful views.

  • The Roman walls of Lugo are considered the most preserved in Europe. They are practically intact, a walk through them is worth. They have little more than 2 km in length, for those who don't want to do all the way, is climbing the ladder that is right in front of the matrix of Lugo and follow the left, it will be a journey of 600 meters and you can already get at the square of the Campo castelo and exit beside the Nevado Cafe for a delicious Cappuccino.

  • We had a lovely walk in the late afternoon taking sun. Some gistory discussion was brought forth about 17 amd 18 centuries use of the stone work from the walls. It was a magical experience.
  • A fully intact Roman wall surrounds the old city of Lugo. It gives a magical, mystical air to this place, for sure. Walking around the city on the wall gives you a breathtaking view of the cathedral as you approach the Puerta De Santiago, where pilgrims depart towards Santiago. During the day, during the night, there are always people walking, running, taking their dogs for walks, taking in the magic and history of this place.
  • This is the Cathederal in Lugo, a beautiful city surrounded by Roman walls
  • Walking is the best and the food, in this town, the slogan is 'para comer Lugo'. It's means : For good food Lugo. This is right
  • Built in the 3rd century, this wall is a fascinating historical sight. It circles the old center of Lugo and has many exit staircases so you can quickly travel to different parts of the city. It's a pleasant walk to the cathedral and has spectacular views if the weather is nice.
