  • Crossing Lourenzá heading to Foz us surprised this beautiful church. Its similar in tiny with the Cathedral of Santiago not is of chance, as are work of the same architect. With luck you can match on a visit explained or, like nocostros, encontrartye with a friendly man who explains it. LLA ma the attention that this unfinished and you lack an of the towers. The altar more precious

  • This is very wonderfull place with good atmosphere. And the peoples is very kind and helpfull. I love this place
  • If I say she was complicated, it's because of the erroneous info posted on the Church. After an hour of waiting, we asked from a passer-by who referred us to a person speaking fluent English, which called the guide who gave us an appointment for 5: 00 pm. The Church itself, in the baroque style (18th), does not have a lot of interest. The façade recalls and precedes the erection of the Cathedral of St James of Compostela. The sacristy (admission €2), however, presents several treasures: - a magnificent reliquary of the XVIIth - of old bibles of the ninth century (according to the guide itself opens on a single page) - an of the 17th century wooden altarpiece painted beauty. -Some interesting statues. In the underground chapel our Lady of Valdeflores rests the sarcophagus marble beauty of Saint Conde, founder of the monastery. Alas, the monastery itself cannot be visited and the sacred art museum (€1 extra) is possible in visit to from 10 people... and we were only 6 including four french pilgrims who had joined us. Note, once more, the kindness of the Galicians: the person speaking English has accompanied US throughout the visit to translate Spanish to English explanations of the guide who, herself, came especially for us.
