Playa de las Vistas, Los Cristianos

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4.4/5 based on 1,600+ reviews on the web
At Playa de las Vistas, breakwaters protect the swimming area from big waves and strong currents, but the calm water offshore contrasts with the liveliness onshore. The long promenade offers plenty of bars, water sport rental shops, and a visitors' center, or you can just use it to take a leisurely stroll. Stop in at one of the harbor’s seafood stalls to sample fresh catch, or join a cruise around the bay and the surrounding islands. Lounge chairs and umbrellas are available for rent on this manmade beach. • Lived next to the beach of Los Cristianos (close port, swim like that is not really, but you can look at the frequent unloading-loading large ferries island-fun!), and were therefore on the Boardwalk (or travelling by car) a little further, to Las Vistasa. In my opinion this is the best beach in the South of Tenerife (the longest, well equipped, clean). For children the perfect wave (and sometimes more lively to ride on them and generally safe). Compared, say, with La Arena (Los Gigantes cliffs, where black sand-there's just scary run and adult then plunge, such huge waves, rocks nearby, anyway often hung a red flag). The Las Américas Beach and more people seemed to be everywhere, with good access to water in the sand-wave also more serious than Las Vistas beach. In short, we have chosen a wonderful Las Vistas and for informational purposes only happened on others.

  • Beach, lined with a promenade walk, very pleasant until Las Américas, with shops and restaurants. Very clean, cleaned every morning with the tamiseuses. During the day, employees are still to pick up a few waste abandoned by disrespectful users. The sand is clear, and there are showers to rinse off after bathing or leaving the beach. A lot of umbrellas and sunbeds (charged) but enough space for those who do not. Vendors ply the beach, but they are not at all pushy, or embarrassing. and they do is stop with holidaymakers facing them. The water is clear, clean, without stone or rock. Beware, the beach isn't down gently sloping and there quickly from the bottom.
