  • The origin of the primitive Church, was the site where St. James the Apostle, preached at the Logroño at that time. Magnificent Renaissance doorway, with two sculpture of Santiago, one of Pilgrim and the other on horseback as a warrior. Inside magnificent altarpiece and some sizes of special interest. In very ancient times Council logroñés met in the Church that also served as a file, as evidenced by Roman inscriptions.

  • Cost: by donation. We were greeted by a really friendly man who explained the rules and services. The room had 18 beds which were decently comfortable. There was a family style supper where everyone sang a hymn together, mass, and an evening prayer and blessing for the peregrinos.
  • It is pretty. As a curiosity for those who are fans of the topic, in this church have a panel counting the relationship of Escrivá de Balaguer, who lived a good season a few meters.

  • Impressive church above all by its large interior space. It contains the Gothic image of the Virgen de la Esperanza, an interesting Baroque altarpiece dedicated to St. James the Apostle and Patron Saint of Logroño.
