  • It is worth visiting, without reaching the level of museums in larger cities, it is worth. Impressive wood main staircase. Free of charge.

  • Is located in the Centre of Logroño and we found it by chance. We entered no idea of what he kept and the surprise was great, especially in the first two plants. It is small but very well restored to allow value exposed parts. In the first archaeological plants and valuable Romans, as well as altarpieces and carvings perfectly restored and presented. The top floor is a museum dedicated to the field of La Rioja. For me it has rather less interest, but it is complete. Surveillance of the rooms is a bit extreme and even abrupt, less that of a watchdog nice security and scholar that we mention details on exposed sizes. Admission is free, which is appreciated, but you could have a moderate, since what is well worth. Curiously it must leave an ID card at the entrance.

  • The truth is that for a Logroño that is not a large city, has many things to see, and one the Museum of la Rioja which is worth both your building on the outside as it is on the inside, well care and the video of the first floor is a very good introduction. The only bad note, I do not understand very well the because, ask for an ID card to enter (if you do not get in the way enter)... And another thing the people who work there are not the most kind, on the contrary are rough answers and forms, I was going with my children that did not touch anything and have been a lady say to please man don't touch anything and others... , if my children were playing something (which on the other hand don't let them...) because you would understand that you told us... and not polite way mention us, and why it was in my hand. But on the other hand one of the workers spoke with an acquaintance that her daughter was running for the entire Museum and nobody said anything. This is worth going to the Museum, but lack training and manners in the workers.

  • Would not let us in despite having loads of id. Would only accept a pasport & we had left them in our apartment a bus ride away. Have never been asked for id let alone photo id to get into a free museum! Could have made an exception as we had lots of other id. Very poor experience and very small minded attitude!
  • Nice one. Good to see that they have English translation
  • Interesting, nicely presented and free if you bring a passport. My family of fellow philistines got round it in a brisk but rewarding 75 minutes. Everything was on a human scale which didn't overwhelm our kids. Recommended for pretty much anyone.
  • Well worth a visit, quite a lot of ecclesiastical paintings etc, well displayed. Break your tapas and Rioja tour for a bit of culture.
  • Excellent Museum, covers all of the Rioja region, from prehistory to beginning of the 20th Century, recommended
