Bufones de Pria, Llanes

Categories: Beaches, Nature & Parks, Outdoor Activities
Inspirock Rating:
4.5/5 based on 550+ reviews on the web
At Bufones de Pria, watch the tidal swell shoot up geyser-like through underground channels. These unusual tunnels result from karst rock formations. The roaring noise--“bufón” is Spanish for “big snort”--of this geological curiosity impresses visitors even at a distance. Note that the road to this attraction and its parking lot are not well-maintained. Consider taking the hiking route suggested on the official web page. For travelers who use our custom trip planner, Llanes holidays become easier to arrange, with trips to the Bufones de Pria and other attractions mapped out and timetabled.

  • Do not saw any jester but the views deserve the penalty! Must-see if you have not been! Recommendation: where care step

  • Pity that we went there on a day when the sea was calm as oil, but the scenery is beautiful walking on rocks, between the rocks there is a bit of sand that allows flowers to color the terrain. Feel so loud the sound of the sea beneath the cliffs in a calm moment makes me imagine how can be impressive when the bufones are active! Just before the holes of the bufones there is a nice beach if the tide leaves it a bit free. The only flaw the difficulty in finding parking.

  • It is very curious phenomenon of Jesters, although usually only listen to "blow" it would be awesome to see them to expel water. The landscape and the beautiful views.
